Certuity is a boutique wealth management and multifamily office firm with a national presence. The firm is owned by its partners, employees and ultra-high net worth families who understand the evolving and sophisticated needs of high and ultra-high net worth families.

We are regulated by the SEC and are required to file Form ADV annually or upon the event of a material change as defined by the SEC. We update Form ADV on a periodic basis generally for changes in ownership, management, service offerings and business expansion.

The name Certuity is a combination of Certainty + Ingenuity. Our brand reflects our core values and our offering. We believe great companies are committed to providing high quality and consistent experiences regardless of the time or the place.

History

We have grown our business organically. We attribute our consistent growth to our intense focus on building an organization that families and employees want to be a part of.

Ownership

Certuity is a member-managed LLC that is entirely owned by Certuity Holdings, LLC. Certuity Holdings, LLC is owned by Certuity’s partners, employees and ultra-high net worth families, none of whom own more than 25% of the company.

Risk Management

Safeguarding your assets. We have developed a straightforward process:

  • We do not hold any of your assets in our accounts – they are held by investment managers or highly rated third parties in your name.

Highly regulated and audited:

  • Regulatory reporting to the SEC and subject to periodic and surprise audits.
  • Annual compliance audits and annual surprise audits on a periodic basis by an independent, third-party compliance and financial auditing firm.
  • We seek to follow industry best practices.

Fiduciary Duty to our clients as a SEC Registered Investment Adviser including the duty of care which requires us:

  • To act and to provide advice that is in the best interest of the client.
  • To seek best execution of a client’s transactions where the adviser has the responsibility to select broker-dealers to execute client trades.
  • To provide advice and monitoring over the course of the relationship.

General:

  • We have never filed an insurance claim.
  • We do not have any litigation.
